Located 7 miles south of Stephenville, TX,
Touchstone Ranch Recovery Center provides a unique treatment experience. As part of a working ranch, residents learn through interaction with horses and other livestock about trust, boundries, communication and responsibility. Taught by certified equine therapists, residents will be able to identify what they learn from the animals and how to apply these principles to their daily lives. |

Residents develop an individualized plan of care with their counselor. By focusing primarily on the spiritual interpretation of the first three steps, residents lay a foundation that enables them to continue to work the 12 steps with a sponsor following completion of the program. |

Upon completion of the program, residents are equipped with a knowledge of who they are, the tools to live in a world without drugs and alcohol, a responsibility for their own thoughts, feeling and behaviors, and a concrete relapse prevention plan. Residents will be strongly encouraged to attend daily AA/NA meetings, obtain a sponsor, and continue to work the 12 Steps. |

Based on an understanding that addiction is a family disease, our Family Program is specifically designed to provide education and counseling of the entire family. Focusing on the disease concept, co-dependency, family roles, and relapse in group and conjoint sessions, families are able to begin a healing process and obtain valuable and practical solutions. Our Family Program meets each Saturday. |
